The Hartford Fair has been over for some time and the show went very well. DSC Emily 1101Y was named Grand Champion Simmental Female and Reserve Supreme Champion Female of all breeds. A month later, on Sept 17 she then had a beautiful heifer calf out of the popular simmental sire Upgrade.
My son sold his Steer Pool calf which stood second in his class. Thanks to Bill Hoskinson of Hoskinson Trucking – Granville, Ohio for purchasing his steer. It went on to receive a Prime grade at the carcass show.
All of our spring calves have been weaned and we have been getting a lot of visitors. Come and see for yourself. Pick out your next herd sire or show heifer. We still have a lot to choose from sired by Fat Butt, Upgrade, 3C Macho, Shearforce, and many other popular bulls.
