The 2013 spring calving season is well under way. The first calf to hit the ground running was a bull calf out of our new herd bull DSC Brute Force. We are very excited about this young sire and can’t wait to see the rest of his calves this spring.
We are expecting about 70 more calves between Jan and April, which are mostly sired by the popular Simmental Bulls- Upgrade and Shearforce to name a couple. There will also be some SimAngus half blood calves, a couple of club calves sired by Park Place and Monopoly II, and a couple of half bloods sired by Select Sires popular shorthorn bull Capishe.
